Achievements:
  • Project focus: migrate BI Reporting from on-prem BI/Oracle to cloud BI/Hana environment.
  • Worked with SAP SLT resources to enable real time reporting and data gathering between on-prem ECC environments and the cloud based BI system. Included defining table and filter criteria in the SLT.
  • Architected SAP security roles (PFCG and AA based) for the new BI cloud system, including auto generated AA roles for company code security.
  • Provided support/ training to report owners to migrate their BEx reports to Analysis for Office.

Achievements:

  • Migration of the Viacom SAP Landscape: Worked as a Sr. Basis admin on a large project to migrate Viacom’s ECC, SRM, Portal, PI, and Solman landscapes from RH Linux 5 / Oracle 11g to RH Linux 6.7 / Oracle 12c.
  • Helped architect and test local and remote DR strategy.
  • SAP Vulnerability Remediation: 3rd party group put together a list of potential vulnerabilities in our SAP Portal and Web Dispatcher instances.  Worked with various teams to implement the remediation’s.

Responsible for the administration of SAP WAS 7.0, SAP R/3 4.6C with AFS 3.0, CRM, SolMan, and Business Warehouse (BW 3.5).  Duties included Basis and Security day to day tasks as well as upgrades and migrations.
During my time at Warnaco, I was put in a lead position and had 5 operators reporting to me.  I was responsible for training and managing this team.

Achievements:
  • Upgrade SAP R/3 4.6 C to ECC 6.0 on sandbox to plan for upgrade onto our new hardware.
  • Performed hardware migration from SUN Solaris 9 to AS/400 and DB2.

Responsible for the administration of SAP R/3 4.6C, Business Warehouse (BW 3.0B and 3.5), and Enterprise Portal 6.0 SP2 systems.  Responsible for all server software/hardware upgrades, troubleshooting, and implementation.  Responsible for the server maintenance in the on-site datacenter which included racking new servers, connecting servers to the network switches, and switching out bad hardware.  Duties included Oracle 8.1.7 and 9.2.0 administration, CCMS administration, SAP security administration. Prior responsibilities included the role of web master for the company intranet, internet, and e-commerce web sites.  Initially hired in as a help desk technician where duties included troubleshooting desktop hardware and software. 

Achievements:
  • Presenting a session at the 2006 ASUG convention in FL.  Session titled “BW Big Win for a Small Company”.  This session focused on our BW upgrade from 3.0B to 3.5.2 NetWeaver.
  • Associate of the Month, December 2000.
  • Aided in internal project which earned us Team of the Quarter, and later Team of the Year for 2003.
  • Implemented EP 5.0 and EP 6.0 systems using MSCS and Java server cluster technology.
